Burton is our new-dish German Shepherd baby. He’s the joy of our lives most days 😉 He’s been growing like a weed and since I’ve been rather remiss in posting I thought, what better way to jump back on the wagon than with some adorable photos of my favorite guy.

German Shepherd Puppies Love Snow…At least mine does!
Ruger, our first GSD who we lost to lymphoma in August was a snow FEIND. We couldn’t keep him out of it. To be fair, I have a snow obsession. I can smell it coming. There’s just something so magical about snow that makes the world seem so quiet and calm and clean for a moment. It makes sense that he latched on to the snow since we were always so in-sync.
The first time it snowed this year my heart broke all over again. I missed him and I was scared that Burton would be like Oscar, moody and annoyed by snow. Luckily my fears were quickly assuaged.
Ins’t he handsome? Little sucker will do anything for a snowball!
I can’t believe how much he has grown since this shot 🙁
German Shepherds Also Love To Strike A Pose!
Not only is this little guy very adorable he KNOWS that he is very adorable. He’s a smiling goon most of the time and we love him for that. Anyone who can light up a room is a winner in my book!
He’s very photogenic and he knows it…trust me!
This guy has to have a bed in every room…he’s gotta be right where I am but also has to have a cozy spot to curl up. The struggle is REAL.
Okay sometimes the bed he likes to be in is actually the bed in our spare bedroom. I’ll lose him for a few hours and find him passed out on this bed 🙂
And I mean, who doesn’t look stunning in black and white! This guy <3 how do I ever get anything done with all these photos of him hanging around?!
When he was just a couple of months old Burton was a German Shepherd puppy like most…ALL EARS!
The bigger he gets the more this little German Shepherd pup takes up as much room as possible 🙂 We’re used to it but it is never NOT funny. Little goof.
